Patric Didier Claes is a specialist in Central African Art. As a curator of the museum in Kinshasa, his father introduced him at an early age to the culture and traditions of Africa.
Patric Didier deepened his knowledge when he made his first solo trips to the Congo in 1989.
Over the next ten years, Patric Didier dealt with dealers in Brussels, Paris and New York. He decided to take a new step in 1998 by organize an exposition in Brussels, participating in shows like “International Tribal Armory Arts show” in New York, “Bruneaf” and the famous “Grands Antiquaires” at the place des Sablon, since 2004 the important “Foire des antiquaires de Belgique”, and finally “Kaos” in Paris. Patric Didier publishes every year a catalogue about new acquisition or special exposition like the “Songe” in 2006 in Paris.
He becomes an official member of the expert of Belgium in 2005.
Patric Didier has opened his gallery in the Sablon area in Brussels. His goals are to present high quality object from important collection.
